Reinstalling BRPG

I am reinstalling BRPG after it was accidentally uninstalled/deleted. Also, I haven't used BRPG in over a year. Do I need to acquire a new key? I downloaded the 1.7d for Windows and inside it says Demo Mode. I have a game this saturday and I want to start using BRPG for combat representation of my t...

Awesome, so this can be resolved?! Thank goodness. So, in double quotes, does this mean that I should use apostrophes instead of quotation marks? That's not a problem at all. I just wanted to clarify that that is actually the problem. And yes, I love BRPG. I am able to unleash all of my creativity a...

Encounter Data Not Valid, Aborting

In my current 'Rise of the Changer' campaign I have created a complete interactive character sheets with even removable inventory items by creating stylistic text graphics on strips of parchment and importing them as objects. I was using the 'Add Notes' feature to provide extra important information...

Wow, that's some tremendous style you've built into your game! I don't recognize the system, but I'm curious to see it in action, especially given how beautifully you seem to have integrated its features into BG. How are you laying out those player panels? Are they floating objects with dice object...

7th Sea: Rise of the Changer

I'm very thankful and pleased with BRPG and just wanted to share with the community some screenshots taken from my first two games, which have been solos with two of the three playing cast. I still have one more solo to run with my third player, before bringing them all together for the firs group g...

Colored Bases W/O Facing Indicators

Is there a way to employ colored bases without the yellow facing indicator? Currently, I only see "Clear Facingless" as an option. I would like to employ colored bases that do not have the facing indicator. If I could simply edit the files and create new ones, that would be great. Is there a way to ...

It worked and loaded instantly for her. Thank you so much. This solved it. Having her import the encounter asset, and if that's something I should have already known, I apologize. *places dunce cap on self*

Julen and I just playtested this with the correction and my large jpeg object tile is not loading for her. I checked the encounter file and the name displays correctly in the code. She can see everything in the encounter but my object tile. Again, being able to upload my graphic to my own website an...

Yes, I already created my media bundle and my player already has the bundle too. I had just assumed that if the link was broken in the encounter that it would have made the media bundle bad too, since the media bundle sent to the player would have been created from an encounter with a bad link.

Alright. I have opened this up and re-inserted the name of the Encounter into the open quotations as shown in your example. Once I do this, I have to load it in BRPG and export it to a Media Asset Bundle, send that Media Asset Bundle to my players, and then it should load correctly when I import the...

Importation of Custom Assets Difficult

After months of design and creation, I am finally ready to begin running games for my custom made 7th Sea campaign. The constant problem I am running into is caused by the fact that I create all (100%) of my own graphical assets and due to the way BRPG works, this is causing a problem with the lack ...

Er, the table just now displayed once she hit zoom. I then removed all units and reloaded the encounter and she saw everything once again, so I think we're good. Thanks for all the help and I'm sorry for being such a noobish pain.

I saved the whole encounter as an external media bundle and sent that directly to her. I imported the media bundle and then loaded the encounter and she sees everything except for the table that still loads as a question mark. Are off-map object tiles not included in media asset bundles?

Oy. Then that's most likely definitely the problem for my Campaign Dice Table. So I should send this graphic directly to my players and tell them to place it in the exact same Objects sub-folder that I have created in my directory? Or maybe I could cut it into smaller "pieces" loaded as separate obj...

The jpeg graphic that I am using as my dice table (object tile) is only 384kb in size. Also, she has verified that the dice.cxt is in the Artpacks folder and that the 16 dice folders have been installed in the Deployments folders. As well, we both restarted BRPG several times, so I'm sure it's not a...

Tile & Dice Issue

So, I am attempting to playtest with one of my players right now and we're running into an issue. All the objects and figures load on the map for her just fine. However, we're having two issues with the the tile that I created to the left of the map for us to roll dice on. She cannot see the object ...

A Question of Dice

So, using the wonderful Free Dice Art Pack, I am using dice in a special rolling area instead of using the built in dice roller. I have two questions. 1) Is there any way to select a die and automatically change it to be "resting" on a certain value. Some players are superstitious and before rolling...
