Re: Bug Title: Can not use images with the same name in diff

I believe this is listed somewhere as a known limitation of the software.
While I agree that it certainly an annoyance and something that should be avoided when coding BGv2, I don't think the developer would consider this a bug.

Re: Token/Compnent status enhancement

Dynamic interactive portraits with unit-specific metrics (health bars, mana pools, status effects, etc) was something I often brought up in the past as an example of what could be done if Flash Integration was added to BRPG (and BGE). While it's true that heruca could add it as a core feature, I thi...

Re: Component Size

It's a limitation in the development software (Adobe Director) used to create BG combined with the fact that heruca originally designed the map, fog of war, and grids to be loaded as single large images (rather than auto-tiling programmatically). If you do not need the dynamic fog of war or snap to ...

Try to be a bit more descriptive or people likely won't bother looking at it ;-) A couple of screenshots would go a long way.
Your post looks more like a spambot ad post than a legitimate resource right now lol

Re: Fog of War Dual Monitor

Currently, to do this you will need both a GM license and either a player license or floating license. (You can test it for free in the demo however.) I recommend the floating license over the player license, since that will allow you to use it for remote sessions as well. The GM client hosts the ga...

Re: Attention Mac users!

The app freezes anytime you try to access a pulldown menu (combo-box?), such as the one on the License panel (which accesses no media). Not sure if there is anything I can do to address this issue. Sounds like an issue with director's internal Flash player, which isn't too surprising. Or it might b...

do you accept art packs? i made similar before, if you interest, send me an email or pm :) Not sure if heruca ever got around to emailing you about it but yes BG does have both commercial and free art packs, many of which were collaborations with 3rd-party artists. I'm sure he'd be receptive to put...

Re: First try with multiple players

When we went to give it a try we had problems with my three players unable to see the bottom 25% of the map. Try using the "Resend Missing Map Pieces" command on the GM Client. If that doesn't work, try a "Force Full Update" command. Both of those commands are available on the GM Client by double-c...

Re: Opening Prior Encounters without old version

The absence of a graphic should not cause a script error. If a graphic is missing it will simply fail to load it. BRPG automatically updates encounters to the latest version. If you are getting errors, it means either your encounter is corrupted or the version you created it in is so old that automa...

Anyone who was using the old RSS feed has probably noticed that it disappeared during the forum upgrade. phpBB3 has built-in feed support that should automatically be visible to anyone accessing the site from an ATOM or RSS-enabled device. The feeds can also be manually accessed using the feed page....

I can't seem to fix the clickable image link in the OP of this thread . Could you take a whack at it? Fixed. Demoted this from a global announcement to a normal post since everything seems to be working properly.

It will likely be a while before I get around to making further changes unless something urgent comes up.

However, if anyone finds any problems, be sure to tell me.

Re: Turn Sequencer

Thought, (again not knowing the full expanse of what is required) Is there a way to "connect" just the base mechanic of the flash features, and let the community help build the "features"? With Heruca elevating to reviewing and "attaching to the base program"? that could potentially create a win wi...

Re: Pop up box Rotation

There is certainly software (often bundled with the video card driver) to rotate or flip the entire monitor output. If you're talking about rotating individual interface elements independently (without rotating the entire screen), then that would require program-specific functions (though would be e...

Re: And we are back! woot!

No. Actually, I give out a free second GM license for those who want to prep on one computer but run game sessions from a different computer. However, the two GM clients must operate independently, they may not be used in conjunction. I stand corrected. So face-to-face GMs need to purchase a floati...
