No, TS settings don't appear to make a difference.

I've attached the Encounter and Asset File (it's big!). The Minotaur and the dwarf Thortak are the only ones that have alternate tokens and thus have the problem.

Script error on clients when switching to alternate token

When switching between tokens for a given figure (standing and prone tokens for example), a script error was consistently generated on connected client machines. This were tokens that were not part of an Artpack. It didn't cause a crash of BRPG, and the clients were able to hit Continue when it happ...

This bug is back in 1.6g.....part of the 1.6f problem?? I don't know. Just know it manifested again tonight with 1.6g.

Okay, well the verdict is that there were no script errors from this tonight on 1.6g. It appears the problem is gone for one reason or another.

We did have a couple other issues...but I'll report them separately.

At this juncture I can't be 100% certain, since that was 3 weeks ago. I give them pretty detailed instructions regarding the migration of folders and files when we upgrade BRPG, but that doesn't mean someone doesn't pull a Homer and simply not follow the instructions as written. One thing I've learn...

I have no problem with either of Vry's token packs on Win7/x64, in 1.6f+.

I haven't specifically tested Vry's Artpacks (I'm also Win7/x64). I'll give it a try when I get home tonight to verify.

It is in fact due to the specific Deployment I'm using. No other Deployment or Encounter I have produces this result. I've attached it and the media asset file.

It would be the most important one of course--the one with the player characters in it.

Interesting.

I get the script error when I hit the "Finish" button in the TS Wizard, or when I try to load these TS settings, even after restarting BRPG.

I know, but the periods haven't been giving me trouble so far in the TS settings name, so I didn't figure it was the problem here.

Script error in Turn Sequencer Wizard

Not sure what's going on with this one. Whenever I try to create a TS setting like the attached it gives me a script error. Not urgent for 1.6g. I was just trying to get around the ties in GURPS by changing my settings (combining the Basic Speed and Dex columns) and adding an Initiative Column. (had...

It's possible. These sorts of TS issues would be easier to troubleshoot if the TS Setup Wizard allowed more effective editing--so that you can see what the settings for each column currently are, and edit each column independently, rather than having to wipe them all out and start again. That said, ...

Re: another opinion on Flash

Just as a counterpoint, I don't think anyone in our user group is interested in Flash. [snip] I'd like to echo this response; I could not have said it better. Flash support would be nice, but I sincerely doubt I would ever create any Flash animations myself. Speeding up BRPG, fixing the bugs, and w...

Clients unable to attach die macros to units they own

Given the known problem with 1.6f, I'm not sure how much point there is in reporting this, but I'm going to anyway. With 3 clients attached, they were unable to attach die macros to figures. Or rather it would attach, but then it would disappear a moment later. Didn't matter if who was the owner of ...

Oye, heruca.....sorry to hear this.

I guess 1.6g may be a bit further away than you first thought then? No worries.

It's seems remarkable to me that this didn't cause even more problems in BRPG than this actually.

High CPU usage in non-licensed client

Doing my usual goofing around today, and I discovered that when BRPG is running in Demo mode, or unlicensed client mode, it uses a lot of CPU power. I run both a client and a server on the same machine. I rename the client executable to "Battlegrounds RPG Edition - Client.exe". When running by itsel...

Suggestion: Continue tracking those things, but in the Notes column. The less number of columns you have, the faster it should perform. For the record, I did some testing tonight by myself with a GM client and a single player client. In a session with 10 figures, I rapidly advanced the TS on the GM...

I think this is a nice feature. I think it would be improved though if all dice results were reported to the Main Window, and recorded in the Dice Roll History though, instead of just some special sets. It's inevitable that there is a player who has to make a bunch of rolls in a row, and if there's ...

Also in the Turn Sequencer, when Everyone owns a figure, and a TS value is set to "Mask this value from non-owners", then Everyone in BRPG should be able to see the value....since Everyone owns it. But this is not the case. No one can see the value but the GM. Edit: Okay, this last bit isn't always ...

"Screen" button missing in Unit Manager

See here in the attachment.

Not much else to say....I took an object I wanted to use as a screen, enabled the feature from the context menu, only to discover there was no way to turn it off.

Re: NPC comment description and figure name in TS

Problem 1: When a figure is owned by Everyone, the players all see "It is an NPC's turn to act" in the main screen, instead of the figure's name. I still see this problem in 1.6f. Unless you specifically own the unit, it always reports "It is an NPC's turn to act" in the Chat Window on in the text ...
