Top Down Superhero and Superheroine figures

Post by TRIAD4Evr » Mon Nov 29, 2010 3:52 am

Anybody have a good resource for this or know somebody that might do some work along these lines? Mostly I'm needing non medieval-weapon- brandishing men and women, some with heads covered, some not, in a variety of bright colors- there are enough monster-ish types and robot types out there... it's the basic "Justice League" types I need figures for...

Perhaps some of Wyldfurr's modern tokens would work well for this?

There are also some superhero types posted on the Dundjinni forums.

Edit: See this forum thread for links to supers.

I couldn't get a good look at Wild's tokens there- the website was not cooperating, but I did "Wish List" it so I can check it out later- that might help! And I picked up your leads on the other thread!

Yeah, I had trouble last night getting the Modern Tokens Starter Pack page to load for me on RPGNow. After a lot of trying and waiting, it eventually did. Not sure what's up with that.

Just posted a bunch of new superheroine minis I made on the DJ site above- more to come but apparently I'm spamming, so I can't add anymore right now...

Here's some I didn't get to over there...

Thanks, TRIAD4Evr.

A tip for future tokens: if your graphics app supports it, try adding a thin black "inner glow" effect, to outline the tokens and at the same time cover any edge artifacts left over from when you cut the figure out of its background.

Believe me, I had a hard enough time getting the background colors to alpha correctly, and I didn't see the feature you are referring to (I was using GIMP) but as I practice more, I'll look into that.
