Fantasy maps

Post by Cisticola » Tue Oct 02, 2012 9:51 pm

Hi folks,

Not been on these forums for awhile, normally hang around the Dundjinni Forums, but just want to say I have a new home for my maps at:

http://cisticola.deviantart.com/

They are from my current campaign, so I update regularly. There are maps and top down tokens/figures.

Its free.

Hiya, Cisti.

Nice maps and tokens. Looks like you went up another level in mapping skill during the time that I've been away from the DJ forums.

Thanks for posting that link to your gallery.

Wow, just .... wow..... Incredible...

May I ask what tool you use to create the maps? I'm currently looking for a good mapping software but somehow everything I like is very expensive or outdated :(

EDIT: Just read the OP again and I guess it's Dundjinni :)

Hi Ellegon

I have been mapping for a very long time, so you are not going to find a single piece of software that can produce the sort of maps I do. I use a combination of Dundjinni, Bryce & Gimp. However if you are looking for just something that will produce a good quality map very easily, then I recommend Dundjinni.

Although development on Dundjinni has stagnated, it is a super bit of software which has a very active community of artists that post art objects & maps.

Go for DJ....

Hi folks

Not been around for awhile, but have decided to pick up the old mapping wand again. Here are a few new pieces from the Call of Cthulhu adventure "The Haunting":
