BRPG Being Used for PBP Gaming

Post by Farland » Sat May 26, 2007 11:28 am

Here's a screenshot from BRPG in use for one of my PBP games. It's on a ship (a map I snagged from the Dundjinni forums, but I did the water in photoshop). The troll is meant to be a scrag. :)

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. I love seeing pics from actual games.

Though this reminds me that I need to add figure bases without a facing indicator, for games that don't use facing.

Absolutely. In fact, I'd suggest that such bases be the default, since I imagine (and I think polls prove) that DnD is going to be the game for which BRPG is used the most. In fact, you might want to make round bases.

I forgot that this was your map Alynnalizza. It's awesome (as you can tell by my decision to use it). My version of Dundjinni didn't have the sails and other accessories your map had, so I had to cut those.

Farland, have you continued to use BRPG within your PBP game? I am curious how it is working for you.

Are you using BRPG as a tool to just layout the battle and posting a pic to the PBP or are you actually running the major battles within BRPG and only RPing in the post? With the grid I am assuming it is the former but wanted to get your feedback.
