I play LFR and I am considering getting Battlegrounds. Is there a large community that plays LFR? If so, where do they announce & Signup for games, and is there a way to get in a test game before purchasing.

The free Demo should be enough to run a test game, but if you can find a LFR GM with a Floating License, even better. You might also try the FUM "Game Organization" forums.
