Once I lock a FFO I can't seem to be able to unlock it.

Even with the Unit Manager? That's the only way to Unlock non-FFOs, too.

Yeah, it can be unlocked in the Unit Manager.

Just seemed like I should have been able to unlock it the same way I locked it.

Weird, this thread is showing up as Locked for me, even though it isn't.

The trouble with locked units is that you can't select them in order to access their contextual menu to unlock them. That's why it must be done via the Unit Manager.

Perhaps I can recode it so that right-clicks allow selection, while left-clicks are ignored.

Strange... I did move it to fixed and changed the title to "Usability." Maybe something got mixed up during the change.

I think this would be good.

Heh, this appears to put the posts in a Locked/Unlocked state.

But replies can still be made by quoting.

I think only you, Omnidon, Halebop and I can do this, because we're forum moderators or admins. You should also be able to respond just by clicking on the "Locked" button that appears where the "Post Response" button would normally be.

The forum, Fixed Bugs, is locked, so any thread in this forum will show up as locked even if the thread itself wasn't locked individually.

And yes, moderators and admins can always reply to locked threads.

Thanks for clearing that up, Omnidon. I never noticed it before because I rarely come into the Fixed Bugs forum. No reason to, other than to gloat over my slain enemies.
