BUG: Object Expected (RC2-PR) [FIXED]

Post by Omnidon » Tue Jul 18, 2006 12:18 pm

This may be related to the Grid Not Refreshing bug.
I was using a normal square grid with snap-to-grid on though.

I've gotten "Object Expected" script errors twice (in both cases, a blanket)

I might have had FoW on both times.

It happened once was when I was hosting a game with a second instance of BRPG.
After the script error, no changes to units and figures were showing on the player client.

In v1.0 I am getting an Object Expected script error quite frequently immediately on launch. This is not related to any previous bugs as far as I can tell, since it happens during loading and without me touching anything.

Sometimes when it happens, clicking Yes to continue will work, but often it just keeps happening endlessly and I need to hit No and try again.

EDIT: Come to think of it, this might be caused by the little splash screen not loading, since I dont remember seeing it when those errors occurred.

Interesting. You're getting an error right after launching and before taking any action whatsoever? Is this with the QuickFix patch installed, or without it?

With the QuickFix, though I'll try a fresh unzip and see if that helps.
