I appreciate it, gentlemen. Your best is all you can do.

By the way, if you have any questions, I'm on MSN messenger. My handle is achilles143(at)home.com.

Ahh I see
I can do the houses fairly quickly by using CC3 after I paint the background

I will just plop them right in

And yeah I like painting maps so this is fun, and the deadline is tight but I tend to work well under a deadline and its a good thing cause my boss always wants it YESTERDAY!
hehe

And yeah I like your work, you work mostly with DJ?

Ok Farland, Ill try to hook up MSN if I have a problem or Q I need to ask. Im painting the new dragonspur on top of the original so it will be a virtual copy, and Im thinking, should I leave the troop colored areas out? Is'that something you can add later?

Hurltim and/or Venger,

These houses should help with the city map:
http://www.battlegroundsgames.com/phpBB ... .php?t=609

There are 47 different building tokens in the zip. You may need to shrink them even more for your map scale, but at least you'd have a consistent set to work from.

I've done many of the maps myself, using mostly CC3 and photoshop, and other people did some for me with Dundjinni. I am far from a DJ expert.

Yeah, leave the troop areas out if you need to and we'll add them in later. Thanks.

Hey, hurltim is doing Zel City and Venger is doing Dragonspur, right?

Don't bother doing Orland City, as Erian_7 is working on that.

So then I believe that will just leave Kale, Elder Daven, and the Far City.

BTW, what's with the blood splatters in the east and northeast? Were there battles fought there?

Venger, that looks amazing! Thanks.

Please do Kale City next. Here is the link:

Also, there is a map of Kale City up on the site. Just drill down through the kingdom of Kale in the interactive map session.

Awesome! Im glad you like it.

This gives me a chance to work with the tools and play with some new techniques.

I like Dragonspur's layout, and often I get ideas that never come to fruition because I dont need this or that style of maps for my game. So these maps will let me get some practice

I will do Kale tonight when I get home.
Out of curiousity, what is the scale in feet/miles across Kale itself? this will help me get an idea of how to draw things.
How wide is the river?

Kale City is about a mile long north south. The River is perhaps a quarter mile across or a little less at that point.

here is Kale City

I did the buildings with Isometric view this time, and please let me know which style you prefer, the Isometric style of Kale or the Top-Down style of Dragonspur

Venger, that's perfect! Thanks. If you forced me to pick, I'd say I prefer top-down slightly, but not by much.

Are you ready for another one? At this rate, I am feeling good about getting them all done by the 15th.

Please do Elder Daven next. Here is the link:

Also, there is a map of Elder Daven up on the site. Just drill down through the kingdom of Daven in the interactive map area.

Thanks again! :D

You are welcome

Ok I will do your maps with top-down

Wow! Elder Daven is a big one, thats gonna take a whole 6-pack to finish!

Is that area along the south beachfront? And are those Ships in the water, enemy ships? and do you want them painted on the map?

I also see some black symbols on the map, what do they represent?

I hate to be the one to say it, but "amphitheater" is misspelled.

Don't bother doing the ships. The black symbols I think are just supposed to be wall towers.

And heruca, where?

Ok, I fixed the mispelling on the Kale map and you can get it here...
http://merp.servegame.com/brpg/Kale3_Display.jpg

And here is the Eldar Daven map in normal display resolution
http://merp.servegame.com/brpg/EldarDaven3_Display.jpg

All of these maps are also now on my woefully unartistic webpage in BRPG resolution towards the bottom here...
http://merp.servegame.com/brpg/BRPGMaps.htm

Doing all of these maps has inspired me to re-do my own "Buella" town map. I havent posted it yet tho, as I am still working on it.

Wait, wait! We have one more to do if you're up for it. Hopefully you are, since that will then be it for you.

It's the map of Far City.

http://www.myth-weavers.com/attachment. ... 1173837676

Can you get this done for me by tomorrow? Also, please email me your real name so I can give you credit for these maps on my site.

Finally, Elder Daven is spelled wrong on the map. It's Elder Daven.

Thanks for all the work you've done, Venger.

Ok sure, I anticipated the possibility of another map. I will make corrections and post Elder Daven immediately.

http://merp.servegame.com/brpg/EldarDaven3_Display.jpg

My game isnt until the end of the moth so I still have a couple weeks to work on my campaign.

Far City-
I will do Far City Today/Tonight and should have it posted by tomorrow morning.
I can work on it during my breaks and lunch today since its not terribly busy here(so far)

I'll email you my real name.

I havent kept up with Farland. Mind if I ask about these maps' usage? Will you be having a large scale battle? Any links I can check out just for me to "get a clue" as to how they will be used?
Will you be using a VTT to play these maps? Stuff like that I am curious about. BTW_ Im glad you like the maps

Thanks
