On further thought, you might have to set the dice macro to roll two different colors of d6. The second color die is used for Criticals. These would NOT have a modifier applied due to the enemies' Defense Value.

Prior to rolling the dice macro, the user would have to input how many Critical Hits they got during their attack roll by selecting how many d6 of the second color to roll.

Looks good. Set the dice macro to never autoroll.

Could you post a result that includes a Critical Hit die?

Does the option exist to set the number of secondary dice to zero, if no Criticals were scored?

On further test this macro doesn't work. It's adding the total of all dice. The dice that should fail and be counted as zero are being subtracted from the total.

In the above example the 2=No Wounds & the 5=2 wounds to a Enemy with 3 defense.

Set the minimum result equal to 0, as shown below.

Try clicking the Reset button, then recreating the dice macro. If that fails, try relaunching BGE. Let me know if that doesn't fix the script error.

That fixed the Script Error but it Hangs/Lags before allowing any further button clicks. Once the on screen message of the action disappears it continues as normal.

"Save As...", relaunch BGE, reload game file, see if lag is gone.

Perhaps the name of the last dice macro you created is too long. Try shortening it.

Or it could be that the equal sign in the macro name is fouling things up somehow.

Edit: I'm pretty sure that fixes it so you can save again. Is the lag gone?

What else did you change recently, besides dice macros? Perhaps antialiasing added to hundreds of components?

It has some relation to the action text that appears next to the BGE logo... as soon as that fades it returns to normal.

I have no option for enabling anit-aliasing. That's why I assumed it was default active. Ver. 1.5

Have you disabled Learning Mode in the Preferences panel? You might need to do so to expose the Antialiasing commands.

Worst case, try rebooting to see if that helps with the lag issue.

You should. You're no longer a noob. :P

I'm turning in for the night. Good luck with the rest of the conversion.

So I narrowed down the lag/hang issue...

Whenever in Overview it occurs after a dice roll & hangs only as long as the Blue Dice Roll text appears next to the BGE Logo/Menu button. Once the text is gone all is normal.

If I zoom in there is NO lag/hang.

Interesting. If you delete all or most of the components and/or minis, does the lag still occur after a die roll?
