When Are We Getting BGE 1.8?

Hello, I was wondering when BGE 1.8 was going to be made public.

I need to set aside a day to package it up for distribution, once I get the first alpha release of MapForge out the door. Can't give a specific date, but within a month, I'd guess.

Unfortunately, MapForge has been delayed, and that has, as a ripple effect, delayed BGE v1.8. But it shouldn't be much longer.

MapForge Alpha Release came out yesterday, so expect BGE v1.8 sometime next week.

Still having issues with Intruder Art Pack. If I mouse over a game pieces the portrait box says "Portrait Missing. Please Re-import The Portrait Art Work"

OK, thanks. I'm wondering if maybe you e-mailed me the wrong build? Cause last we spoke you said you could recreate the problem, then you realized you were using the wrong build, so maybe I have that same build you used?

I've been meaning to get to this. Unfortunately, I have 1800+ people awaiting the release of MapForge Alpha 4, and that is having to take precedence.

What I seem to recall from the last time I tried Intruder in BGE is that it only worked properly after I renamed the executable and entered in the license code and gamebox registration code afresh. It's as if I had a bad registration code from before that wasn't letting me properly access the content.

Just rename it to "Intruder_for_BGE"......?

I tried changing the name but the pieces are still not showing. Just white squares with question marks on them.

Also, I've been working on a new game in 1.8. I'm trying to use PNG images, but the back ground isn't transparent when I load it into BGE 1.8. What Am I suppose to do again to make them transparent in BGE, I toggled off aliasing and it didn't work, so it must be something I didn't do right in my Photoshop program (which is GIMP). I know we spoke about this before, but I forgot how we solved it.
