Choosing the Default Network Adapter

Post by Omnidon » Fri Apr 12, 2013 4:25 am

In the past, it has often been recommended to disable extra network adapters to ensure that BRPG functions properly.

Today I came across this handy looking app which may help windows users avoid that issue:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/net_connect_choose.html

It allows you to specify which network adapter is the default (for all running applications).

(There's a bunch of other useful software on that site too)

Note: This has nothing to do with port forwarding and will not help you avoid the need to forward the port if you're hosting from behind a router.
