Dice Macro Help

Post by AntiHer0x » Mon Apr 11, 2011 7:40 pm

Hello,

I am new to Battlegrounds and loved it since I bought the liscense. I am currently playing a 3.5 (D&D) game.

When I apply damage I roll 2d6 per square/hex. I have different modifiers per hit. So i want to generate this in a macro.

Black Die Set Red Die Set
2d6 2d6

I cannot use the "Add to each die" feature since I am rolling two die to begin with and some of the mods are odd numbered.

Therefore, I click the "Mod" button on the upper left corner. Currently, all Mods effect the Black Die Set only. I would like to have it so that one mod effects the Black Die Set and the other effects the Red Die Set.

Is there a way to make this happen?

Try clicking the mod button more than once?

When clicking the "Mod" button a second time it adds another section. Unfortunately, this section automaticlly adds to the first set of die (Black).

I am trying to get the second "Mod" to add to the second die set (Red) not the first die set (Black).

Do you get two seperate totals? (one for the red and one for the black)

I can't even make it do that for me...

Ah, I found it. I guess you get something like this - but with no totals that include the modifiers?

And when you ask for the totals, you get this?

Welcome, AntiHer0x.

I'm looking into seeing of this is possible. It might not be, in which case I would suggest you break the roll down into two separate dice macros, each with one Mod.

Would this work?

You just need to add the modifiers to each roll in your head.

I was trying to see if you could designate the modifier via dice set. But The picture you provided is the basic concept with the user needing to add the totals them selves.

Thanks, great product!
